Spectrex™ Engine Compartment Extinguisher

The Spectrex™ Engine Compartment Extinguisher provides fast, reliable fire suppression for armored vehicle engine bays using HFC227ea and a high-speed, maintenance-free valve design.

The Spectrex™ Engine Compartment Extinguisher is specifically designed to protect armored vehicle engine compartments from fire hazards. The extinguisher contains the environmentally friendly fire suppression agent HFC227ea and features a unique, fast-opening valve design that enables rapid agent release. The suppression agent is distributed throughout the engine compartment via dedicated piping and nozzles to ensure effective coverage. Available in multiple cylinder capacities, the extinguisher conforms to DOT or EU standards and incorporates built-in safety devices, including a safety relief valve and an anti-recoil device. Additional features such as a hermetically sealed valve, pressure switch for cylinder status indication, and visual pressure gauge support reliable operation and system monitoring. With high-speed response and robust construction, the Spectrex™ Engine Compartment Extinguisher is engineered for dependable performance in demanding armored vehicle environments.
